Say Say 04:29
F/Am/G Vs1: Well, you go hide and i'll go seek and i'll give you to the count of three then i'll come runnin' fast as i can I'll get you with a touch of my hand And as we go spinning round and around we can hear the echoing sounds of all our friends clapping their hands singing... F/C/G C: Say, say little playmate Come out and play with me come climb my apple tree and with the birds we'll sing slide down my rainbow right in through heave's door and we'll be jolly friends forever more Vs2: So, please check yes don't you check no cause that's the only love that I've ever known kiss me on the check, hold my hand I can be your little boyfriend And we can go swinging side by side watch our feet as they're touching the sky then we can let lose, land in the sand while all the little girls keep clapping their hands singing... Chorus Chorus to Em/F/C/G Ending: And all the kids sing you and me go up in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g and first comes love then comes marriage then here we come with a baby carriage but i don't care let those dumb kids sing cause that don't sound too bad to me

Jericho 05:57
True loves truly do if love brings kindness then I've been lovin’ you. seems like I’ve known you forever though our days have been few But they'll keep going forever if we keep following through I'll go walking seven times I'll go seven times around then I will scream and shout until the walls come tumblin’ down why don't you come and speak to me the way we used to do help me understand your mind and what's going through it I opened my doors so you could see deep inside but you keep guardin’ your gate like you have something to hide I'll go walking seven times I'll go seven times around then I will scream and shout until the walls come tumblin’ down Don't be sayin’ that the pieces don't fit what do you call the last four months now I’m not a mark on your record that's for sure No, I’ve been respectable, I’ve been respectable what's with the sudden change of mind Am I not good enough did your mother like me too much or was it just not the right time I'll go walking seven times though I know your walls are high I'll go seven times around then I will scream and shout until the walls come tumblin’ down

Vs1 There isn't a reason to treat yourself that way Try to give yourself a reason But there isn’t a reason Do you remember The promises we made Try to keep this space a holy place But now it’s so hard to think Of how far away we come Broken promises Lips sealed silences Passive responses Have had quite the opposite effect Chorus And I know all the so called “good guys” took you to the same place Just at a slower pace But you still felt the same shame So you hit the bars and started giving away Pieces of your heart And if all the paths seem the lead to the same place Shame is lighter with a no name Might as well skip the in between So you gave it away Vs2 Ask yourself the question When did the check list change And when did the qualities reduce to only skin deep And since when Could you give so much away Without him even knowing Even knowing your last name And I will not be your judge No, I will not be your judge No, I’m just saying Is this the best way And I know you can get away with being crazy today But what about when you’re 40 And you can blame it all on a craze On a college age phase But graduation day isn’t very far away You know this isn’t a game You gotta grow up some day Chorus Chorus2 And this is my confession as the so called “good guy” Yeah, I apologize for treating you that way Because if you were my daughter You’d be breakin my heart And when I think about it that way I can’t explain it away And I accept the fault On my part Ending There isn't a reason to let me treat you that way Try to give yourself a reason But there isn’t a reason There isn't a reason to treat yourself that way Try to give yourself a reason But there isn’t a reason

The Tree 05:20
Visions and dreams I have seen While walking roads of sun and shadow Echoes of babes Float on the breeze Something in the wind it calls to me Whispering Mysteries With every step come close I find their place In sacred space The children's song it beckons me Not everyday Is the song they sing For me their song holds prophecy And the children sang Give them the tree Give them the water Give them the bread so they will know And if they won't accept the water Give them the seeds so they will grow. Again they sing their song to me Something in their eyes it pierces me Telling me that my destiny Lies in their few sweet words

Ho-hum 03:32
Ho-hum, ho-hum, and oh well Now got don't get me wrong life is great and everything but there are just those days When you get stuck in a rut and everything feels the same you do it over and over Whatever it is it's the feeling that ya get when you're walkin’ through a cold rain And you say ho-hum, ho-hum, and oh well Since when did everyone trade in their native tongue for this demotic monotone This week is getting kinda dull Yeah, it's fading into gray I need this pace to change I just wanna sleep, wanna sleep this day away, wake me up when it's over I just wanna sleep, wanna sleep this day away, wake me up when it's over Ho-hum, ho-hum, and oh well…

F Dm If you asked me to paint the perfect day A# C it wouldn't take much just some simple things F Dm cause it doesn't take a lot to satisfy me C A# F just some sun, some friends, and some fine cuisine F Dm C A# F so if you are asking me, this is what i'd have to say C A# (let ring) F Dm A# F i'd ask for one taco with rice and chicken please F Dm A# F cilantro, tomatoes, all three, and sour cream F Dm A# F just give me one taco with chips and queso A# A#m and a sunny day with all of my friends, some love, and some hope give me an inside joke that makes everyone roll and a ruby red sunset set off in in the west we can stare at as we laugh the day away.

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, singer/songwriter Nate Hale makes music that is prophetic and painfully truthful, with a melodic, easygoing flow. Nate writes about real life issues: love, war, politics, and religion. Buy the music, come to the shows, clap your hands, and pray that the vision in his music will spread; that swords will be beaten into plows and that jubilee will become reality. ... more
